The formation of struvite scale and calcium carbonate scale is something that wastewater treatment plant operators are all too familiar with. It can form throughout the system - such as on anaerobic digesters, pumps, pipe connections, transfer lines, etc. - and can be difficult to deal with. Our technology can remove struvite scale rock and prevent its formation going forward. We have a system for that.

HOW IT WORKS
GII Scale Control technology produces an electrically generated surface catalytic effect that initiates the formation of microscopic seed crystals, clusters of calcium carbonite and other mineral components. These seed crystals and clusters prevent the formation of hard mineral scale on equipment surfaces.
The technology itself will inhibit the formation of new scale and, in the majority of cases, it will loosen or eliminate existing scale deposits from process piping, pumps, and other equipment throughout the system.
